Confusion (Elements of Dreaming) #AtoZChallenge
In the previous post we discussed how we typically believe the highly illogical world of dream logic. Within a dream we can engage ourselves in surroundings and activities that are contrary to things we believe in waking life. This will often cause us to be in a state of confusion within the dream. Though we may accept what is happening we can feel as though we are in a mental fog riddled with doubt, apprehension, and forgetfulness.
Much of the time a dream can leave us in a state of confusion upon wakening. The transition from the illogical world of dreams into the familiar waking world is jarring at times as we leave the world where we are controlled by a subconscious mind process and reenter the world where we have at least some semblance of control over what is going on around us and the world adheres to a certain sense of natural law as well as our own expectations of how things should turn out.
Do you find your dreams to be often confusing? Are you often disoriented upon waking up? Why do you think dream logic is typically so antithetical to the logic in waking life?

Believing (Elements of Dreams) #AtoZChallenge
Dreams put us in the state of mind of believing the unbelievable. We accept illogical situations and act in inexplicable ways almost always believing that everything makes total sense. We adapt to whatever the dream hands us no matter how random.
In some cases part of our mind might question what is happening in the dream yet we can usually come up with some kind of an explanation or resign ourselves to going along with the dream program. The peculiar goings-on of a dream episode might puzzle us and we might even be resistant to what is happening, but we believe that in the end this is the way the world is. And indeed in the dream world perhaps the illogical is exactly how it is supposed to be.
Do you usually accept absurdity within your dreams? Is it your mind playing tricks on itself or is there a sort of upside down logic that might be symbolic by nature? Why do you think we believe the unbelievable in our dreams?

Ordinary World
The dream world is an extraordinary place that defies logic and all to which we are accustomed. There are the inklings that hint at reality and threads that seem to connect us to the world we know. In a dream, we might feel secure, reluctant to wake up into the ordinary world. Dreams don't last forever, but they are like vacations from waking life.
Does 'dream ordinary' seem the same as what you see as ordinary in your waking life? Do you ever wish that the extraordinary world of your dreams would become your normal existence? When your dreams reflect your everyday existence do you remember them less?
